My second book, TRENCH WARFARE, is a compendium of articles written over the span of two years (2013 & 2014), mainly for an audience of Tea Party activists. Many pieces are informational, regarding issues of the time, but not all. Some are historical reflections and explanations of aspects of our founding documents that people either don't know anymore or tend to forget. There are commentaries on current events, social happenings, and things as seemingly mundane as the Scandinavian wood-burning culture and the impact of the closure of the one remaining lead smelter in the U.S. The focus that's maintained throughout the book is on freedom; what it is, what we should think of it, what threatens it, and what we need to do to ensure we don't lose more of it. The articles are short and easy to read. The concepts discussed may not be so easy to grasp, but by the end of the book, every reader should have a much fuller concept of what being an American should be about.
